3 tests. 1 essay. Professor is very kind and wants to help students as much as possible. You DEFINITELY need to read both textbooks before tests or you will not pass the test. Attendance helps your overall grade on exams so show up!

He is a good personal overall but gets side tracked in class a lot, spends a lot of time watching movies or youtube videos. Showing up to class automatically gets you extra credit on the exams and he also tends to curve the exams. If you just look over the power points and skim the chapters you should have no problem on the tests.

He can be reasonable, yes he gives extra credit, but i would just avoid him teaching this course all around

Great professor. Extra credit for being in class. Lots of experience and clear. One paper the whole semester, which he gave a rubric for along with the information to write the "research" paper.

Class was a bit boring and he would get sidetracked at times but I think, overall, he was a decent teacher. He engaged the class in thoughtful conversations and was organized. I learned some new things from taking the class and I would take him again.

He tries his best, but the lectures are boring and repetitive. He has a very mellow voice so its easy to feel sleepy in the class. Only have four tests and a research paper. There's no homework besides reading and he doesn't check attendance, but show up anyway because you fill out a sheet at the end of every class for extra credit on the exam.

While I would recommend him for SOCI 3200, I would not recommend him for SOCI 3280. Statistics involves math equations, which he does not teach well. I recommend simply reading the book versus focusing on his lectures. If you are graduating, do NOT expect him to budge on the grades to help you out. A bit unreasonable if you ask me.

Professor Yeatts made statistics enjoyable, and he was clearly very educated on the material. He gives you 1 point for each day you attend, so you can make 100+ grades on his tests. 3 HW, 2 Quizzes, and 4 tests. Easy class if you attend and read the book.

Professor Yeatts was great; he was really helpful and provided ample opportunities for extra credit. His lectures are not verbatim straight from the book; they are interesting and designed to incite discussion, so his classes are not boring. If you read the book and study for the tests, there should be no reason you make below a 100.

I really like Dr. Yeatts, & I really enjoyed this class! Attendance is not mandatory, but you receive extra points on the exam for showing up & participating. Well worth it! Exams are multiple choice, movies throughout the semester (Office Space at the end), & two short papers. Highly recommended!!

Class was all lecture, but every class you attend you got extra credit points that went towards the tests. Tests were the only grade so you have to do well on them. Reviews given online along with in class powerpoints which make skipping class tempting, but overall the class was okay.

EASY! I LOVE this guy! He's soo goofy without trying to be. He's old and acts as if he just got done getting high before he comes in because he's so sluggish, in a cute/funny way. Important stuff: Lecture the whole time. Extra credit every class period if you attend. 4 tests make up grade but you'll do fine if you do the study guide. EASY class!

Very boring class, occassionally watched an interesting movie. Attendance not mandatory, but you do a worksheet at the end of each class for extra points on the test. Have to do the reading and study for the exam or they will be hard. No laptops allowed so bring something else to occupy your time. Overall, you can get a B doing minimum work

He's excited about what he's teaching and the class discussions are very interesting. Show up b/c you do assignments at the end of every class and if you complete them it goes 1 pt toward your test grade. And the class consist of only 4 tests and an extra credit assignment. Tests are VERY EASY if you read the book and take notes. EASY A!
