ATTENDENCE NOT REQUIRED! I took Lit. of Bible & had no problem for crying out loud-plus I skipped right & left b/c he doesn't require attendence. Writing assignments were short & easy. plus he lets you have multiple opportunities to write more & then use the best of the grades(if students are willing to do the extra work for an A). I am currently talking Dale's Writ About lit class and it sucks! He is a very biased grader and he does not answer your questions at all and if he does he goes in a circle basically restating your question but in different words. I do not recommend taking him at all!

Well, I've heard all the bad things and unfortunatly he made the case very clear as to why people dislike the guy. I'm taking the class online during the summer, he hasn't graded anything or responded to anything in almost a month now, so we are all left hanging. No feedback of any type, gonna see what the dean of students has to say.

No attendance policy for my class which was awesome (8:30 class). I thought he presented material in an excellent and interesting manner. He assigns a fair amount of work, and if you show the class some respect, he may become lenient with some of the deadlines.

He is there to teach his class to adults--regardless of if his students desire to act as such. All expectations are laid out in the syllabus from day one, and all deadlines are clearly communicated. Comments on papers are helpful, though his handwriting can be near impossible to read. Overall, he was a very helpful professor to me.

I found his style to be bland and ineffectual. He does not communicate well and made you feel as if you were a waste of his time. It was a miserable class. Communication was so scant that I cannot even say weather he was a nice guy or not. It was like talking to my screen.

I'm not sure if it's ENG1560 or something else. Anyway, I'm in his Writing For Careers class. Seriously, it is cake. I've had him for Composition as well, and he's an excellent teacher - he's actually trying to teach you rather than letting you get away with easy assignments so you'll get a good grade. He really wants you to learn from his classes.

Dale was a very hardlined teacher, but helped me become a better writer. he tells you exactly what you need to do to make your papers better, and is very helpful if you talk to him outside of class. Some say he is a difficult teacher and mean, but I have had him for 3 classes now and I think he is awesome!
