Comment:

Exam & about 2 quizzes per week. If you pay attention in class & take notes you will do fine on them. I didn't read the book & was in A-B range for tests/quizes. I suggest not missing too much class, as the material on quizzes & tests is mostly taught in class. He can come off a little mean initially, but he's a really nice guy & he teaches well.

Dan Alex is ok, you just have to study A LOT! If you procrastinate or be just plain lazy then your doomed in his course and can never recover. His tests are somewhat off from the labs but this is why you study for everything. Getting an A is difficult but a B is reachable.

Trust me, this class is NOT hard. Yeah there are a lot of exams, but they are pure matching - so you only have to be able to associate things with one and other, you don't have to know anything in depth. The info is also very basic. If you can put up with his terrible lectures and go to class (like any good student should), then an A is in reach

Friendly professor, but a hard class. A ton of quizzes, usually they do not line up with lecture notes, thus, you must study HARD! Often goes off on random tangents. Never have enough time to complete labs. Despite the hardness of all of that, I still recommend him. You learn so much, and begin to understand life.

He isn't the worst teacher in the world, but you do have to go over your notes and study for exams. I just wish he had been a little more focused and organized during lectures. It was a very rare occurrence that the lecture, lab, and exam would match up.

HORRIBLE!!! This man should not even be teaching. 50+ exams throughout the semester. Usless in lab. Homework, exams, and labs NEVER corresponded to one another. PLEASE, save yourself and avoid this terrible excuse for a teacher at all costs!

Maybe 1 person max in his class gets an A even if you work your butt off you'll probably get a B max. Most people I asked in my class got a C. The grading is off even if I got an A on the final i'd still have no chance of getting any better than the final so basically I showed up for nothing. I could've stayed home and still received a B.

Attendance was not required, but often he gives quizzes either before lab or during lecture. The ones in lecture are random you basically do have to attend everyday or risk not taking a quiz if you don't. He often puts things on the exams that we were not told would be there and leaves out somethings we were told would be. Believe 90% of his review

He has very wierd and complicated ways bt if u just do it u'll pass. we had 50? exams once EVEREY wk plus a final tht was comprehensive all mult.choice lectures were ok, he often goes into random tangenst.labs;every lab u had a 15? quiz on the prelab assign>mult.choice,answrs ur ?s.the work is nt hard, take good notes nd u'll get at least a B-

To be honest, this class was excruciating most of the time. Often times he would ramble about god, or religion, or sometimes about how the US is going to be taken over by another country. The good news is that his tests are all 50 question matching tests, so it's pretty easy. Just do the study guides and go to class. Easy but boring.

This teacher was the worst teacher that I ever had. I was frustrated most of the time when I was in his class. He doesnt explain things well and when he does he is playing games most of the time. He acts like everything is a joke. DONT TAKE HIM HE IS JUST TRYING TO GET PAID!!!

The class isn't too hard if you can stay awake during lecture. He randomly calls on people in class to answer questions though, I hate that. The lecture tests are really easy, but the lab tests are weired, & sometimes have nothing to do with the labs.
