I LOVE prof Cullen!!! He is super nice and genuinely cares about his students. He made class discussions engaging and offered a nice mix of lecture and discussion. He gives very helpful feedback on his papers and he says that he looks at grading like he's a coach and trying to help you. He's also super funny.

This class was a lot of reading at some points, but Cullen does a good job keeping things interesting and keeping students engaged. I really enjoyed this class and I feel like I learned a lot. He was also super approachable and got us pizza for the last day of class.

Cullen is the man. One day we said we wanted donuts, so the next class he brought some! Very interesting class. Only 3 papers decide your whole grade, so you have to participate. He is funny and definitely connects with students. If you constantly have annoying opinions, he will probably call you out, but not in an obnoxious way.

No tests. Only three papers determine your grade and he isn't terribly good at letting you know what he wants from you. But class is a breeze. Read or don't, but go to class for the discussions, you'll learn about so many interesting topics and how you and your peers feel about them (crazy growing experience!).

Seriously my favorite professor so far. There is nothing like coming to class and having your professor say he's hungover. He acts more like a college student that more college students. We even had a class pizza party. I loved the class discussions because they're relevant past the classroom but in life. Take him.

Amazing. He is brilliant and wants to teach you, but he also wants to know what you think. He made me far more interested in Political Science than I was before taking his class.

I HATE THIS CLASS!!!! I was a political science major until this class. Political philosophy is an understatement as a description for this class. Professor Cullen is not a warm teacher and in class makes it apparent if you make a comment he does not feel is intelligent. In fact after a few bad comments he will most likely stop calling on you.

Cullen is awesome. I would highly suggest taking him for Search. He is actually interested in establishing a Search minor at Rhodes so if you are interested in this subject he is the perfect professor for it.

Cullen's the man, and he likes to feed his students! Bit of a tough grader though, and senior sem can be a bit tedious (2.5 hours long!). He's still great though.

Great professor. One of the best I've had at Rhodes so far. If you have the opportunity to take philosophy of law or any class with him do it.

He really don't like teaching this class, and you can tell. It's impossible to get above or bellow a B on anything, which is good if you don't want to pay attention. Likes to lecture rather than discuss, but he's really smart and you can tell. He's really into pop-culture, and interesting 2 listen 2
