Prof. Kennan is a really cool guy. He has a lot of experience in his field, and in life, and is always nice to talk to. He wants you to get the most out of class for your own benefit and growth. Do the assignments and you'll pass. Show up to class and be respectful of his time because he cares about students and your success. Very understanding.

Juvenile Delinquency: very lecture heavy but he had to fill a 5 hour slot. He's very funny and looks like Willie Nelson. Relates the material to what is going on in society. Make sure to take detailed notes and read the text. He gives study guides for the tests but they do not coincide with the questions asked on the test.

Prof. Dan is the real deal. If you want to learn about our history go talk to him! Never a dull moment, he brought in famous artists from the 1960s (he has connections). Very thorough and easy going. Answers any questions you may have and isn't afraid to tell you the truth about our messed up gov't. GREAT PROFESSOR! Plus his book is to the point!

This teacher is absolutely amazing and so interested in his topic.. Had his Jan Term class for "the 1960s". He expects you to voice your opinion and participate. By far my fav class of my whole 4 years of college. It was an honor to take his class! And this class also really inspired me to get more involved !

Loved this class- be ready to talk though, he hates when the class is quiet. He wants everyone to share their experiences- it adds to the class. Definitely recommend this teacher!

Dan is an excellent professor. He encourages his students to do well in his class (internship) and has positive feedbacks. Seriously, take him (you won't regret it)! His Sociology Internship class is an easy A and you you learn alot about the jobs out there in your field.

Prof. Kennan is really laid back and down to earth. I liked his class because he was very considerate of the students' workload and willing to compromise. He also has alot of knowledge and interesting stories to share regarding working with "at-risk" youth.

Comment:
He needs to control students that talk more than 20 minutes about an internship, because this does not allow others to speak. He needs to be able to tell people to shut up.
