Comment:

The homework and exams have nothing to do with the reading, and the answers that are expected of you are nothing like the reading. The homework has wrong answers, and tests are based of memorization of dates, random numbers, and random names, not actually thought. Would not recommend.

I took one of Prof Mark's online classes. While it was a five credit hour course, it was a ton of work. multiple tests and quizzes each week made for a busy semester. I will say though, that Prof Mark was very fair on grading and gave good feedback if you asked for it.

I was told by several people not to take an online Biology course. However, Dr. Mark was a wonderful teacher and I ended up with an A in the class. Expect chapter questions, reading, and labs. The tests are HARD, however, if you do the reading and chapter questions you can do well on the tests.

Dr Mark is the best online teacher I've had. Everything you need to do is laid out for you and the class is very simple and not too hard considering it's biology. I missed taking a test and he e-mailed me the next morning, concerned about why I missed it. He cares a lot about his students and their success. Buy the textbook online when class starts

Mark is a great teacher, even when teaching online. If you need help, he will help, his tests are straight forward and go over the material he assigns. He is also kind enough to open up any missed work at the end of the semester for you to makeup and there is no final!

Dr. Mark is awesome. He is so willing to help. I had to miss many classes due to some health problems, and he bent over backwards to try and help me get caught up and learn the material. He is HILARIOUS too, so it makes lecture go by fast. I would recommend him to anyone!

Likeable guy, great instructor. Lectures are very interesting--I was often surprised when they were over. Also, this guy will bend over backwards to see that you succeed. He made a huge difference in my confidence level! I have a learning disability, and this class left me actually feeling that I was intelligent! Thanks, buddy!

Dr. Mark made Anatomy and Physiology fun and interesting. He is not your run of the mill instructor, he works hard to help you succeed. He has his own sense of style, and humor, never boring and enjoys teaching. His tests are hard, but he grades on a curve. Expect to dedicate a lot of hours to studying. I found Mark to be one of the best teachers I've ever had. I ended up bombing the class, but more because I foolishly took it during the summer, which went by too fast. Made me interested in Biology if anything.

This was the hardest class I have had so far but he was absolutely awesome! He was very helpful--he offers extra credit and grades on a curve and none of the other bio teachers do. Take Dr. Mark for BIO! He is a great teacher and a great person...he loves his job and it shows!
