Dan is a member of a very small club of teachers who teaches from real life experience. He is exactly what the every teacher should be. Extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of design and model making. A great personality and sense of humor would make your study even easier.

Amazing teacher. All about beautiful products, "geometricizing" and 3D of course! He smells fear so you better be on top of your stuff every class and have answers and no b.s.-ing WHATSOEVER. you get hands on experience and up your crafstmanship. you end up with at least 2-3 great portfolio worthy products.

Dan seems to be laying off the legendary pressure a bit, which was good for me, (maybe because of the department or because he's getting older) but the guy is a no nonsense dictionary on building/finishing materials and techniques. He has a lot to offer to anyone willing to put in the effort.

Absolutely amazing teacher. Not only is he an amazing database of raw knowledge, he goes out of his way to accomodate students (in-studio machines, purchasing bulk materials, etc.) Inspired me to work hard!
