Hard to listen to and monotone, but overall extremely nice and helpful when you ask questions. This class is a VERY easy A if you can pay attention, which you will need strong motivation in order to do so. Rand is a nice guy, but boring. Its not his fault haha. Take good notes in class- all exams are open notes/book!

He's a very nice guy and very smart, but he is really boring to listen to and isn't very good at explaining himself. Assignments were all online and we had 5 chances to do each one, and all tests are open notes. The class isn't very hard, it's just a struggle to get yourself to go every day.

This guys is a worthless teacher, luckily its a really easy class. If you like teaching yourself how to do things out of the book and think of ways to not want to kill yourself in his class than this is for you. Good luck

He is a very nice guy, but a really awful professor. Don't buy the paper copy of the textbook, you won't use it. All of the assignments & quizzes are online so they're very easy to cheat on to get 100%, & he only has a few tests which are all open book/notes. I wouldn't recommend his classother than to fill a gen ed, not to actually learn stats.

Rand is a nice person, but as a professor, he could use a little work. Bring other stuff to class because it is so boring you can't pay attention anyway. I would recommend trying to learn from the book more than the lectures. Tests are open-note/book/computer which is really nice. A very approachable guy.

This guy is simply unreal. He has no idea how to answer questions and relay the answers back to the students. If you already know the concepts don't listen to a word he says. Your best bet is to teach yourself or find someone else to explain the concepts to you.

Rand is the nicest prof you will prolly have through school. I took his stats class and he made it so much easier than all the other teachers do. Kindof a push-over but a great overall class. Take him any chance you get.

this class is ridiculous. Prof Rand tries to help, but its not even worth it for him to try. Most weeks the class was taught from Roch, which meant watching him on a screen. Most students left after the first hour (of this 3 hr long class!!!) not recommended!

He is a nice guy, and if you are a student that is taking the class just because it is required...he is the guy to take it with because he is very understading. Sure...class can be boring, but you get to use your notes on tests!! He is a good professor.

Nice professor, tries to be helpful with little success. Knows the material well, but is unable to teach it in an understandable matter. It's not worth going to class, you might as well head to straight to the tutor. It's totally stupid to have this class taught ITV...worthless.

He doesn't know how to teach! Nobody in the class is able to understand him. He gives extra credit problems,homeworks which helps you to boost up your grade. If you are good at maths and can learn by yourself then only take this class. If you are not good at maths then don't take his class.

The reviews for the tests are very helpful, weekly homework which is pretty easy, gives extra credit. Means well, trys to involve students. Very laid back guy. Learn to teach your self, becuase he kinda just assignes homework, and does not teach too much during the semester. This teaching style some people like, but most people hate.
