Good teacher, the best science one I've had so far. Pretty interesting lectures, yet can move too quick at times. Tests have some curveballs, but you are not too difficult.

Dr Dan was overall a pretty nice guy. He can be a bit mono-tone but he tries to work around that by providing a few interactive classes. He'll also have a segment called "Dr. Dan's weekend" which was a nice break from the current topics. He's a really good guy.

Dr. Dan teaching habits are very hard to follow. Thier all over the place, one minute your learning organelles next time your learning Mendel's Experiment. There is a ton of material covered prior to a test that is usually recommended to study but not on the test. Your best off teaching yourself the material as much as possible.

Dr. Dan is a really nice person but it's very hard to understand his teaching style. I never really knew what to study and the website he uses was way to big to navigate for a one semester course. it's an ok class if you have a solid bio background from high school. if you dont, youll have to teach yourself it.

Dr.Dan was by far the best teacher i have ever had. If you are premed or anything health realted its the perfect class because he realtes all the bio nonsese to things you actually care about like diseases and treatment, I learned somuch from him.

Dr. Dan was an ok teacher, his lectures were a little boring at times but he had really good visuals and movies. The best parts of the class were when he related what we were learning to real-world problems. I feel asleep in his class a few times though, he has a melodramatic voice which you have to fight to stay awake.

Great class--Good guy! He makes biology really fun and come to life with various forms of media and whatnot. He grades fairly and helps you as you need it. Reading the text and attending lectures is necessary for a good grade, but you can also 'get by.' Pretty much one of the best classes you'll take.

i like this class. it's all on powerpoint but that's actually a good thing because he shows pictures and clips that really help you visualize what you're learning. he's really fair and class isn't really hard. plus dr. dan's just an awesome guy.

Dr. Dan is nice with a really dorkey sense of humor. Tests I found really difficult, b/c there is A LOT of different info scattered btw the text and lectures. Presentations are all powerpoint, and he is very online oriented which I found good and bad(check the websites frequently for HW!) Good prof.
