Dr Fung is incredibly passionate about food micro. He is very responsive to questions and is a great professor. None of his courses are easy, but you shouldn't expect ease from the world's foremost expert in food micro. You will definitely learn the subject.

Fung seems like a nice guy, and is definitely good about emailing me back whenever I have questions (I'm taking his distance-learning course). But he's a TERRIBLE teacher because he's so inarticulate. His slides aren't very helpful either so I often have to look things up on Wikipedia and learn on my own. Don't take this class if you expect to lear

Dr. Fung is probably the most excellent teacher I have encountered at KSU. He genuinely cares about his students and is always interested in their personal lives, as well as education.
