Prof Ouelette is AMAZING! Best Spanish prof. I've ever had. He's an easy grader, is there for his students, and gives great feedback on his assignments! He doesn't pressure you into learning Spanish, but he's willing to help you if you're struggling and doesn't make fun of you in class if you don't understand. Great sense of humor, too!

His class was the biggest joke I've ever had, especially as a Spanish major. If you take 202 with him he knows that 95% of the class isn't going to a higher level, so it's all easy busy work rather than learning anything new. Needed the textbook for the online code for assignments.

Best teacher! Actually wants his students to learn spanish. Gives in class writing assignments which he allows you to correct for credit after being graded. Gives great feedback. Super enthusiastic! Easy A. Would totally recommend to anyone who struggles or excels in spanish.

He was the best Spanish teacher I ever had. He was funny, serious when he needed to be, and seemed to genuinely care about his students. Your grade was clearing determined by two essays and classroom writings. You might not learn a whole lot because of how lax he is, but I learned enough. Would recommend him to anyone.

Ouellette is awesome! I learned so much. He does speak in Spanish during class but always repeats what he says in english. This helped so by the end I could understand Spanish way better. He teaches the important stuff and theres little to no homework. Class has in class writing assignments but you can ask fellow students and use dictionaries.

Prof. Ouellette is one of my favorite professors. He makes class interesting with hilarious stories and there is never a dull moment. Do the homework packet and the required work and you'll do great in the class. It's not even that hard. Definitely recommend him!

This teacher is one of the best spanish teachers i have had at this school. He explains things in spanish and english simultaneously so you end up picking up what he's talking about and is a very hands on teacher. Attendance is not mandatory however if you don't attend class don't get angry if you have a crap grade because languages are hard.

FAILED 201 IN THE FALL, TOOK HIM DURING INTERSESSION. LITERALLY THE ONLY REASON I SPEAK AND UNDERSTAND SPANISH AS WELL AS I DO IS BECAUSE OF THIS MAN. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. VERY FUNNY AND SO CARING. One of the best professors I've had at UMD. I learned more with him in 1 semester than I had in 3 years worth of high school Spanish. Takes an interest in each student and wants you to succeed. Tests are straightforward from the study guide and the class is enjoyable to attend.

Professor Ouellette is the best Professor I've EVER had. He is so nice and funny and he is willing to help anyone that needs it. As long as you do your work and he sees your making an effort to learn the language you should have no problem getting an A+. I highly recommend taking him.
