A great author and a passionate teacher! The knowledge that Prof. Bolelli brought forward was very heartfelt and eye-opening. Thick accent, but easy to understand and I think it just adds to his character. He is a bit of a tough grader on details, so just make sure you take good notes/attend lectures!

Not much to say but only that Professor Bolelli is awesome! Your grade is based on two exams & 2 essays. You are not required to be in class since he doesn't take attendance but of course in any c lass if you attend your grade in the end will be much better than not showing up. First test is multiple choice and T/F and the second test short answer.

very sweet and his lectures are amazing. You can tell he really knows what he's talking about and it's great. everyone keeps saying the midterm was hard but he basically tells you everything that's going to be on the midterm before hand and if you study what he tells you, you'll do great. For thefinal he gives you all of the questions ahead of time

tests are nitpicky, catch you on tiny technical details or wording, causes cognitive dissonance; almost all questions force you to find the wrong thing. basically, it doesn't really test your understanding of history. the papers aren't hard but time consuming. 1 full book to read, written final is based on that book.

First class that felt like a real college class. Won't take off points or drop you for being absent. Doesn't matter how many classes you miss as long as you do the effort and turn in the work. The midterm is very tricky, but manageable if you follow the study guide. I enjoyed his lectures

took this online, had about 1 online audio lecture a week that's super easy to listen to. 2 papers, 1 midterm, 1 final, 6 discussions. super easy grader as long as you complete the assignments. definitely take this class online, and i recommend you take notes while you listen to the lectures; makes it easy to copy/paste for exams since its open boo

Ok listen. Don't make the same mistake I did and buy all the textbooks and use them. The answers to the final study guide are NOT online. Meaning you have to actually study some. His class is cool. Just sit there and listen. This class is like two essays, a midterm and a final. You never have to come to class though and that is the best part.

His lectures are long. He sometimes goes off topic and talks about current issues and that was honestly my favorite times in his class. He is very smart. He likes to start a dialogue. The midterm was really hard though.

Professor Bolelli is amazing, hilarious, and a pleasure to listen to. His lectures are always interesting and he makes it a point to keep the class engaged in philosophical discussions. I got 100 percent on this course, and I must admit, Bolelli is an easy grader. 10/10 would take this class again - you get to learn so much about different beliefs!

Bolelli is a chill professor and doesn't care if you miss every day after the first two weeks. He has a 200 slide powerpoint that he covers bit by bit each day of class. Lectures can get a bit boring. The Midterm exam is what gets everybody in terms of low scores. I studied for like 3 hours and got a C. Others studied longer and bombed the exam.

This was by no means an easy class. However, he's very straight forward about what you need to do for the class. Do yourself a favor, print out his study guides for the midterm and final, and during class take notes ONLY on what's covered on the two study guides. If you do this, you'll do well. He's a cool guy and a solid teacher.

The class is only 2 essays that are a joke and easy A's, a midterm that is almost impossible, and a super easy final. You never have to show up, but if you want an A you do and have to read. Did almost nothing all semester and got a B. It's a chill class and he's nice and helpful. You'll learn a lot about Native Americans.

One of the best professors I had at SMC. Lectures were fascinating; they seemed more like conversation, since he knows the material so well. His class is actually one of the reasons I was inspired to pick the major that I did. Definitely recommend if you have a desire to learn! Not too difficult either.

Teaching style is lax, unorganized, and attendance is not mandatory which are reasons I did not take the class seriously and ended the semester with a 'C'. It's clear he is not invested in student success, did not honor office hours, not clear about reqs.

Overall it's a very easy class, 2 tests 2 papers, both the midterm and final is really easy, he basically gave us the answers for both those tests if u study for both of them you'll A's them no doubt. He is an easy grader on his essays, to an extent, the essays are long and the topics of those essays demand that you understand the topic clearly.

This class had two papers and two tests. The midterm is very tricky. It's multiple choice, but the answers can be hard to figure out, because they are sometimes similar. The final is super easy if you study, and the papers are also very easy.
