She kind of makes you feel like you are in high school again, but hey, it was an easy A. She is very nice and helps people who are struggling. As long as you show up and do the labs you will be perfectly fine with everything that goes down in that class. The homework outweighs the final grade so if you bomb it you fine too!

I loved the way she taught! She made learning chemistry really smooth. Her tests are super similar to the practice tests, which help so much. I wish I could take her for every level of chemistry that I need to take!

She truly wants to see her students succeed in this class, and most do! Such a caring and helpful person. Practice exams and problem sets are nearly identical to the quizzes and exams, just the numbers are changed. Easy A if you do homework and keep up with general concepts!

Professor Fig is a very supportive teacher, however it is a bit frustrating because it fells like she expects the students to go to after class tutoring instead of teaching the material in class. She spends, on average, the first 20 min of class talking about extracurricular events, or things that have nothing to do with chemistry. So be prepared.

Best science teahcer EVER! I took her with my husband and we both got A's. Just to let you know I am not an A student. She was great at helping us to understand chemistry! I hated science before her class and now I'm majoring in it. Take her if you can!! Oh there is a lot of homework but it helps.

She was Miramar's first full time Chemistry teacher and her experience really shows. I thought her class was very easy and helpful because she doesn't assign busy work. Every assignment she gives you is designed to help you learn. All you have to do to get an A in this class is do whatever she assigns. I wouldn't take Chem 152 with anyone else!

Her exams do not contain things she does not teach you in class, and she reviews with you before the exam. Extremely helpful and cares about your learning! Take her!
