Awesome, funny, and nice lady. I took the intersession class which was very lecturer heavy and only a few assignments that determine my grade. If I could take this class again, I would do a regular semester. First test was tough, so STUDY your notes mainly!!! Class is not the hardest or easiest, but you should be able to pass!

I was really disappointed by this class. She didn't really teach us much, just kinda threw statistics at us. The guest speakers were the most informing. The project was a complete disaster. She isn't organized and doesn't offer much structure.

Great teacher. The class is fun and informational, I was never bored. The tests are based around information from the book. Attendance no mandatory but it's definitely helpful on the tests. Easy class and fun elective. I recommend Dr. Rankin for anything.

She's the one teacher who will take the time to get to know you. Do take the time to get to know her also. Her class is always interesting regardless of what the topic may be. I learned so much about sex that I never knew... She also gives out a lot of extra credit assignments to help your grade. The first exam is the most difficult.

loved the class. she tells funny stories, always ready to answer any and all questions you may have. some things we talked about were on the gross side, but what do you expect, its a class about different sexual beaviors, positions, and STI's...not all sexual things are pretty. go to class, skim the chapters, youll be fine. GREAT TEACHER!

Wonderful class that is one of my highlights at VCU! Not exceedingly difficult, but you must go to class and read the text. Dr. Rankin is fantastic, fun makes every class interesting. Even in a class of 300 when she passes me in the hall she takes time to stop and talk to me, and I didn't even choose the 4 paper option!

this class is such a waste of time, you'd think it would be awsome because it is all about sex, but it wasn't. pretty much taught you all things i either already knew from life or picking up an issue of cosmo. a tedious, boring, ocassionally disguisting class. she was nice at first, but it ****y about tests. so glad it is finally over!

Fun class, lots of discussions in class. Be prepared to be open about sex with your neighbors. I would take this class with a friend. First test 101 questions, that was the hardest. You have the options to write 4 papers if you want to have that average in your grade as well. Fun class if you like sex!

Hilarious class, and you learn more about sex than you ever though possible. I took it over winter break. Some kid passed out in the middle of the female genetalia lecture and had to be taken away in an ambulance. The masturbation videos are unforgettable. Rankin even had volunteers taste condoms. You HAVE to take this class before you graduate!
