Dr. Lake is a great professor! She is a very hard grader and everyone is struggling to get an A. I highly recommend even though her class is tough. I have learned a lot so far and she does a great job communicating with her students about what they need to do and when it is due.

Darlene is a super nice and chill professor. She makes sure her students understand the material. All the tests are online. you do have a lot of busy work as homework but it is easy and you can usually find most of it online. I would definitely take her!

As for most Spanish classes, there's a lot of daily work but it's not usually turned in. However, you are tested on it and discuss it in class so if you have time definitely do it. The class is very discussion based and Prof. Lake really helps out with conversations skill. The class is not difficult, and the exams aren't too tough if you study.

I genuinely enjoyed coming to this class. Super nice lady, willing to help whenever you ask for it. Took the oral class and she made me feel so much more confident in speaking the language aloud. Spanish is never an easy class, but hers is very passable. No in class tests, only escenas and online quizzes. I recommend taking her if you can!

Prof Lake is easily my favorite Spanish professor. She gives a lot of homework so there are a lot of points to make up for her hard tests. This class was a lot of reading/in class conversation about the books. I try to take her whenever I can!

I really enjoyed having class with Profesora Lake! She is very sweet & one of the best Spanish professors I've had. She does randomly call on people sometimes, so make sure you are paying attention. Overall, I would highly recommend her & I even signed up to take another class with her next semester.

Comment:

Lake is an amazing professor who has each student's best interests in mind. She speaks at a slower pace because she knows we aren't fluent in Spanish. There is some busy work, 2 oral tests, 2 compositions, and a lot of in class speaking. But she is a very fair grader and none of the assignments were very time consuming. TAKE HER!

Profesora Lake is an amazing professor. She is very approachable and kind, always willing to give you the help you need. Class contains a lot of discussion which makes it easy to stay engaged. You always need to be thinking because it is very likely that she will call on you to answer a question, which also keeps you focused. :)

Lake is a great. She keeps class interesting and makes sure the content is understood well before she moves on. Exams weren't too difficult even though it was a true midterm and final. Not a ton of homework. I signed up for a class with her next semester, would definitely recommend her

Referring to past comments: I've never had a problem meeting up with Dr. Lake outside of class. She is seriously a great professor. I've learned SO much in this class thanks to her! I'm taking a class with her next semester as well. Definitely recommend! She is such a kind lady and wants you to do well. Always available to help you when you need it

Prof Lake is a nice professor who you can tell is really interested in helping her students, HOWEVER she is very unorganized and finding time to contact her outside of class is nearly impossible, which made this class somewhat ridiculously difficult. She was nice and fun, but I won't take her again. She means well.

Prof Lake is one of the nicest professors I've ever had! But in my opinion her class was not that easy...you have to be pretty proficient in Spanish to do well. I'm only a minor and took this as an elective...I wouldn't recommend taking it if you don't have to. Otherwise, she's a good professor overall.

I like Lake, although for some reason she never called on me and class, and I think that hurt my participation. But she gives homework every day, and randomly grades it, so make sure to always do your homework. Tests were a lil difficult, but nothing too hard. I would recommend!
