While the course itself is really really difficult, Dr. Frey does a really good job at explaining the homework and giving clear expectations for homework and tests. He's also very available to help if you're struggling with a concept. He's very conept-oriented in his grading, which means he gives a lot of partial credit. Great prof!

Dr. Frey is funny, but I didn't like the class. The class was early in the morning, he would turn off lights to use powerpoint, and he has a softer voice. It was so hard to stay awake! The class was dull but there were a few times Dr. Frey made me laugh really hard. He was very good about answering questions if I had any.

Prof Frey is a very nice guy and quite funny in class but is very challenging. The weight of the tests are pretty high, and although the material of this course isn't particularly hard, it isn't an easy A, and you will have to work for it. There is no partial credit on exams which is hard, but if you do the homework and pay attention you'll be fine

Dr Frey was a difficult professor. He barely spoke above a whisper. But he always answered each and every question. He allows the class to decide the date exams are given and is very willing to work with students. He one taught a group of students at 10:30pm. Very difficult but willing to work with you.

I had Frey for Beautiful Math, and it was pretty confusing. If you have questions, definitely ask, however, you must initiate it. He assigns a ton of papers, but he grades them pretty easily.

If you want to barely pass a class than I recommend this professor. There is an unbelievable amount of homework worth very little points. The exams are also extremely hard with an equally hard grading style. You have been warned!!

Dr. Frey is my favorite professor at Cedarville University. He gives quizzes throughout the semester that are pretty stressful because they are harder than the tests, but the quizzes make you realize where you need extra studying! He is hilarious and loves math and loves talking to students, which makes him very helpful in office hours. Take Frey!

Dr. Frey is an amazing math professor, but he's incredibly difficult. The tests are the hardest exams I have ever had in my life. But, if you are able to explain every single thing that you've learned accurately, you won't fail. He's incredibly good at explaining the concepts in class and is always very helpful if you go to his office for help.

You need the book for homework and studying. Keep on top of your work so you don't fall behind and to prevent your grade from slipping. Frey was not very organized (no syllabus). Had to write papers about random videos/books about math... but not terrible if you did your work.

Hardest. professor. ever. He is the quietest person ever, and writes on the whiteboard so that you can't see anything. Almost failed the class because of his impossible exams, and he assigned over 200 problems every week.

Dr. Frey is a very hard professor. He is always willing to help and explain concepts. He assigned a lot of homework, hundreds of problems a week. His tests were a lot harder than the homework, but were on the concepts he taught in class.

He teaches the content pretty well. He assigns a lot of homework and grades very little of it. His tests are typically a lot harder than the homework, but if you put in the time and know the material you can get a good grade. He is also very willing to provide 1-on-1 help.

He is a hard professor. Although, he does an OK job of teaching the material in class and provides homework and answers to reinforce what he has taught, the questions on his tests are harder than the examples he uses in class and gives on the homework. However, he is always willing to stop and answer any questions we may have about the material.

Moves through sections very quickly. Assigns tons of homework, some of which isn't useful at all. Graded homeworks are long and only 2 problems (sometimes out of 100) are actually looked at and graded. Exams are extremely difficult. Will help if you come to him.

Dr. Frey has been the most helpful teacher I have had at Cedarville. He is always willing to help during his office hours and realy strives to make sure that each of his students understands the info. His tests aren't that bad if you do the problems in the book and study them hard. Over all hes a great prof and i enjoy going to his class every day.

Frey's the man, he is hard, but if you are willing to do some independent work, you'll do alright. If you took calc in high school and think you can breeze through this class don't be surprised to find you can't. He's hard but fair and just a good guy.

I hate math. Math hates me. But every day is Freyday! I basically drew during the whole class and I did okay. I passed, so I don't care. He was pretty funny once in a while. Considering I was Com Arts and could have hated every minute of this class, it wasn't that bad. I'll stick up for you Frey!
