Dave is one of the best professors I have ever had. He really wants to see his students do well. He will help you with anything you need. He will have your name memorized after 2 classes. The class is not a blow-off by any means you will have to do work but he makes it really simple for you.

He is an awesome professor. I really had no musical backround going into his class but he was able to make the material very understandable. It's not a hard course but it's not a very easy course either but if you go to class and pay attention you'll do fine. It's fun to go to his class.
