Pros: usually friendly and laid back. Fair grader. Group work is encouraged. Cons: Does not explain the material very well, sometimes has an attitude with students, most people were lost and not into the class, gave too much documentation that did not help with class. Needs to explain with more examples to really teach material.

Just take him. His grading criteria is so clear. 30% of the grade is done in class the rest of it is done through projects. He is ready to help for the projects and the tutoring center is available as well. Explains everything clearly and does not complicate things. Easy A if you show up to class and pay attention.

Exercises are 30% of the grade & projects are 70%. Exercises are very easy & he gives you solution for it. But for projects, you have to put in effort & work to get a good grade. Classes are pretty much for chilling, the only time you have to work is when projects are due. Overall, a very easy class and the prof is really nice & helpful too!!

Awesome Professor. Grades super easy; as long as you are putting in some effort you can get an A. 95% of the class was group work. I happened to get assigned to an excellent group and meetings were fun, if not entertaining.

Too much work and reading. It's a hybrid class (part online and part in class) and nothing gets done in class. All he is does is talk nonsense and waste time. There's literally no point in going to class. I hope to never have another class with him again. A lot of "teamwork". If your teammates don't like you, good luck passing. Grading is not fair.

Very knowledgeable and worldly. He knows his industry well and always has interesting things to talk about. I would label him borderline eccentric and he does go off on tangents but overall very good experience. The only thing I could ask for is more structure in class.

AWESOME professor! DB really knows his stuff, with his Navy and Computer background he is very knowledgeable about anything he teaches. Homework is fun and will help with a computer profession. Clearly outlines chapters. A must have teacher for Computers.

AWESOME TEACHER!!! Very clear of what is expected of you. Extremely helpful, patient and comedic. Uses WebCT for all tests and homework. If you maintain a C in the class and then pass the CompTIA A+ Essentials Exam, he gives you an A for the course. Lots of free and helpful software (from him and Microsoft). TAKE THIS CLASS, ITS AWESOME!!!!
