Comment:

Dave is a very good instructor and doesn't move on until every student understood the material we were covering that day. He encourages everyone to do the best work they can do, and makes himself available if they need assistance. I had Dave for a quarter and never once witnessed any of the negative comments others have posted.

Teaching doesn't get any better than this. Dave is superior to most professors while earning my BFA degree. He doesn't move on until every student "gets it". He inspires me to do my best work. To clarify about any alleged lack of patience, I'd say he only has little patience for unmotivated students, not slower to learn students.

Dave is a bit disorganized. NEVER starts class on time. Sometimes rambles. Need to be more patient when students don't understand. He get frustrated and raise his voice and can be grouchy.

Good guy. Could be a better teacher if he would not read the projects from the book. When helping students, he often gets on your computer and corrects things without allowing you to work through it. Could be great teacher.
