He's an older professor that knows his stuff, and can teach it in a way others understand. Lectures are light, and for a phys 101 class, the tests could have been much more difficult if he wanted them to be, but they were not that bad.

Professor Rader is a chilled out older gentlemen with some stories to share. Right from the get-go I knew this guy was easy-going and in my corner. At first I thought his lectures would be mind-numbingly boring, but I'll give him credit for having subtle humor and if your paying attention, you'll get more than a few laughs out of it. Really cares

Professor Rader is such an amazing professor. He is very patient and makes sure that everyone knows and is comfortable with the material before moving on. Physics is a tough class, but he manages to explain everything very well. Only 10 homework assignments, which are tough, and 3 exams that range from easy to tough. 10/10 would recommend

I'm not a native speaker, had physics about 20 years ago in a different country and hated it. So you can imagine my fear. But I got A. The professor is an amazing teacher and great person. I highly recommend taking physics with him.

Pretty good teacher honestly. Was knowledgeable and helpful in understanding concepts. Helps to take a Bio or Chem class simultaneously. Lots of the same material. Lots of math too. Got over a 100% in the class without reading the textbook, but took good notes and paid attention. The labs are tedious but manageable. Overall would take again.

This class is more chemistry than physics. Rader is a super nice person. He is very helpful. For example, I needed to clarify a step on a homework problem. Instead of saying a simple answer, he went over the whole problem with me. If you fail this class, it's due to your laziness and not showing up for labs (lab reports!! Just two.).

Excellent professor. Very organized with syllabus and teaching. Little use of textbook, all materials and exercises were hand-outs. Study guides given out before tests. Expects you to know how to use formulas but not to memorize them. First month was spent on basic mathematics which I think should have been skipped and gone right into physics.

Mr. Rader is the best college professor I've ever had! He is so kind and helpful...he always had our lab materials set up for us before we even got to lab so we the whole learning process would be easier! He explains the concepts in an easy-to-understand way and gives lots of in-class examples to make sure you understand. I highly recommend him!

Best professor I have had in college yet! Teaches very well so you understand everything, and prints out what we reviewed in class. He helps you out with anything you need if your stuck on a problem, and will sit down with you and work through it until you understand. Make sure you take the lab with him also. A+++

If you show up for class, do your homework correctly, and study a little for his tests, you will do fine! He makes it almost impossible for you to fail. He puts EVERYTHING he hands out on CE6 and gives you tons of study guides and example problems. He's also an adorable older man :) The only thing I would recommend - do not take lab with Jefferies.
