Dave is the director of the marching band but he doesn't do much for it. The grad assistants and staff run the program. I haven't had him for any of his other music classes but I don't here anything to extraordinary. He's a nice guy though. He is retiring at the end of this year.

I playing in MB for 2 years and he never once knew my name. He sometimes comes to rehearsals and usually doesn't know what's going on. The rehearsals accomplish very little in the hour and a half that it meets each day. The grad students do more for the band than Dave does.

He was a major influence on my college career. He really got to know all 300-and-some of us in the band on an individual basis. It must have meant something, cause I kept marching all four years even though I wasn't a music major. Miss ya lots, Dave!!!
