In the starting of clss, I was scared and I thought he is trict teacher. His lecture is very much enjoyable. He lectured enthiusiatically. He made lecture interesting. LAb is alot of work. You should know how to use excel and excel formulas before this taking this class, otherwise, it can be a mess. lab journal collection was sudden.

He was obviously very passionate about the subject matter, which certainly made class more interesting. He presented concepts very clearly. Go to his class, skim the textbook. That's how you get A's.

A decent lecture but a pretty strict class. Has pop quizzes which are kind of annoying. The grading structure is harsh: he does the 60-70-80-90 cutoff, no curve. Your final grade is heavily weighted on the final exam (counts for 50% of the lecture grade). Labs are rather blah but independent projects are fun.

Comment:
Good lecturer. Somewhat difficult exams and a rigid grading structure. He seemed to focus on irrelevant details at times but there wasn't much to test on in an Animal Behavior course. Lab portion of the class was weighted heavily. At the start of the course I had judged him harshly but by the end of the course I enjoyed his style.

Dr. Stephens was really fun to listen to and did some nice demonstrations. I think he explains things well and I don't think he was arrogant at all.

He totally rubbed me the wrong way, and I think he's an ass. Not very considerate to students, especially at the final. He did get the lecture material across though.
