Very funny teacher. I don't see why everyone hates him so much. I loved his class and it was very easy. I got along with Dr. Stern really well and found him to be a great guy.

I tried for a very long time to look only at the positive aspects of Dr. stern and overlook his faults (of which he has many.) But Ultimately I have realized that he is arrogant, and insensative. He is rude and abrasive towards his students and while he may care about them that level of unprofessionalism no doubt contributed to his being fired.

Gnarly mullet! If you're an atractive lady, beware. This guy stares. It's uncomfortable - trust me. Seems like a better fit for a commnity college than for Hendrix. But then again, our band program is about equal to a community college, so maybe he's right at home.

This class was really easy for me. Some of his band students seem to dislike him, but as long as you give an honest effort in his class, you shouldn't have a problem with him. He does sometimes poke fun at his students, but I don't think he intends to do harm. Just seems to be having fun.

Band with Dr. Stern was absolutely my worst experience at Hendrix over four years. He is arrogant, has a chip on his shoulder, and cares none for his students. He does not hesitate to humiliate students in front of class. Avoid Stern at all costs.
