He changed my life. I attended his lecture on recommendation of my advisor. Ended up enrolling after the first lecture, and he helped me find my career choice. He even helped me with my student visa. Such is his commitment to students. He once said, 'the darkest blue comes from the best green'. indeed.

Very hard class and a lot of work. If you want an easy class do not take this, but if you love calculus then it'll be like heaven. Also has an interesting semi-British accent and fascination with cocktail parties.

Excellent teacher. Very helpful, will get to you know you personally. Explains things well- very systematic and thorough. The (3-hour!) tests are very hard; you have to learn long proofs. Well worth the work- you learn a lot!
