I'm retaking Cell Bio now with another professor that actually is competent. I think Borst is a very smart person, but some people just aren't cut out to teach. He can't organize his ideas clearly and jumped around constantly so that you never had any idea what he was talking about. Lab was a nightmare, because they never explained anything clearly.

Twice as many students take the other cell instructor Gatto. The only reason Borst has fair ratings is many students drop out and dont give feedback. Backstabbed 2 undergrads I know and destroyed one master's student research.
