Worst teacher Ive ever had! Admitted he only taught what HE thought was important and NOT what was on the exams! Almost everyone failed and he curved them all to a C. Cant teach. Wonder why USF still has him as a teacher. Taught more about his family and kids than Chemistry. Dont take him!! I had to change my major because of this class.

He was terrible. I hated going to class because I knew he was going to read straight from the book. Everyone had a problem with him and he did not care to help students. He wasted a lot of time talking about other things. His tests were crazy. Extra credit did not help since the class average was always in the 30's. Everyone complained.

He does not explain anything. He tests on things that he tells you won't be on the tests. He also tests on things that are not in the homework. He acts like he does not care about the class, like he is just doing it because he has to.

Teaches straight from the book, yet tests are NOTHING like the book. Review sessions don't help. Puts the most difficult examples of each problem on the test. He does give extra credit, but an extra 10pts to a 30% exam grade won't help you much, will it? I studied for WEEKS for the exams, but it didn't help.

Don't take Dr. Cantillo!!! He's terrible at teaching and gets side tracked very easily. Organic chem is already difficult, but I could have learned just as much in only reading the book. Although he give extra credit, it isn't enough to pull up the extremely low exam scores (in the 30s). I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND HIM--take Flannigan instead.

He's okay. Nothing spectacular. Just attend class because he often gives attendance quizzes. Just answer the questions and you'll be fine. You can learn the material on your own by reading and taking notes from the book. It wasn't too bad and it wasn't too great either. Study groups help a lot.

I really enjoyed his class it was very easy. He was funny at times. The homework system helped a lot and he really cares. He gives us example problems to do in class and then walks around to see if we have problems with it.

Dr. Cantillo has no business teaching chemistry. Cantillo regularly struggled with chemistry problems, and often could not complete them. He was unwilling to help students, and actually told me to Google my questions. As an after thought, this probably would have been more helpful.

Could never complete problems in a single class session. Admitted on several occasions of having difficulty explaining concepts without confusing many people (told us he'd explain next class, and never would). Did not make his own tests, nor did he even look at the ones made for us to prepare us.
