I would definitely recommend taking Prof. Corso's class! He gives you assignments and then lets you out after 5 minutes almost every single class. He gives a lot of good feedback on your essays that make writing them super easy!

Such a good guy. Every paper written has a group prewrite which helps so much, then a draft which he leaves comments on and then your final paper. Easy grader, just do your papers and follow corrections. Class never goes the full time he would rather you work on things alone and just ask for help when needed he is always quick to respond to emails!

Comment:

Corso is an amazing professor. You have a paper/draft/journal due every week and sometimes there's short notice for the drafts/journals but he's very clear on what he expects and gives feedback on everything you submit. There was always the option of leaving early to write the papers so I was never in class long. I would recommend him to everyone.

To put it eloquently, Professor Corso is da man. He gives awesome feedback on your work and grades punctually. He has a great sense of humor and doesn't take the material too seriously (which is not common in English teachers, I think we can all agree). He really helped me improve my writing and made me a better thinker. I took him for EN102 also.

Corso's a really funny, sarcastic, and personable teacher. He did give a decent amount of work throughout the semester but definitely manageable if you're on top of your stuff. Would definitely recommend taking him. He cares about you doing well and is very sincere in a one-on-one conversation.

He's the best professor. Always lets you out of class early. Most of the time you show up, he gives the assignment and then he lets you go. Is very funny, very nice, and not a ton of work. Would 100% take him again and recommend him

By far my favorite professor at Quinnipiac. Had Corso for 101 and 102 and best decision I've made. He only teaches night classes, but is well worth it. He won't keep you all night. Corso is clear with what he wants done and is always there for you at any time for whatever reason. He truly cares about his students. Just respect him and work hard.

I LOVE CORSO. its not rare at all if he lets you go with your group to do an assignment together after 15 minutes of class. he is so helpful and nice. STRONGLY recommend.

Great person and allows you to enjoy class. As a person who hates writing and is very bad at it, his help along with the learning center, it turned me from a c- writer to a b which is very good for me. Whether you are a good or bad writer definitely a class to take.

Corso is the man. He is so funny and honestly, he doesn't want to be in class as much as you don't want to be. He is a great professor who really has a passion for literature. His sarcastic humor makes the class enjoyable and fun. It is a lot of work but nothing unbearable. Definitely take him!!

So funny an always made class interesting, a lot of times you have papers due the day before class by email and sometimes it seems like a lot of work but its so worth it. He usually teaches at night but again its really worth taking him. Loved the class

One of the best teacher's I've ever had at QU! Very funny/sarcastic. Hardly any work. His lectures basically go over the stuff you read in detail. Take good notes tho. You'll need it for the final. You watch Shawshank Redemption for 4 classes! Such a great class, great teacher!
