Comment:
I have taken five classes with Dr. Crowe, and with good reason! I feel as though either students love him or hate him, and I love him. He gives a clear instruction, and consistently takes an interest in students' progress. I love that he always relates lectures to the "bigger picture." He has encouraged and helped me become a better writer.

He might be a tough professor, but he makes his classes interesting. This Literature in Medicine class is fairly new, and he makes it a good experience. Helpful lectures as well as humor. Very nice and understanding. Loved taking a class with him.

You love DCrowe or you hate DCrowe. He is one of the most insightful people I have ever met and does an incredible job making sense out of intangible theories. He is super anal about grammarformatting but will help drastically improve your writing. He may seem like he doesn't know your name, but I've never had a prof care more.

At first, Dr.Crowe can come off as a conceited guy. Once you get to know him and his teaching style, he really has a lot to offer his students. I completely revamped my prose style and he helped me do so. Its a mater of the students attitude going into the class and whether they're willing to see, and accept the person that Crowe is. Great guy

Crowe is a rather cocky and often speaks down to his students. He is a tough and fair grader though and the class was interesting, but he seemed to try to present a god-like attitude. A lot of reading is assigned and he does expect you to remember the nitty gritty details. I just didn't like his outlook on things and attitude towards his students.

First impression, yes he is a rather cocky man; but, he is an amazing teacher with a great personality. He keeps the class listening and presents the material clearly. The deep conversations we delve into during class have changed my outlook on life. He's not hesitant to push you to do your best, and he will stand by your side when you need him

This professor is very pompous and condescending to his students in class. I have never skipped a class in college prior to his. Class structure in regards to writing assignments is heavy, otherwise I enjoyed the texts.

Crowe is a great guy. His classes are almost always interesting, he's a funny dude, and he turned my dislike of poetry into an English major. Also, if it's nice out, he'll let you out early. He really works to make you a better writer, too.

His class is extremely challenging and is very demanding. However, he truly helps you to become a better writer. You are the stone and he helps to polish you. During Halloween you get to go carve pumpkins at his house. Great professor to have and to learn from.

I suck at reading, but he helped me improve my comprehension and somehow I got a B+ in his class. He's a very good teacher, I struggled a lot with starting out the final essay and he helped me a great deal and I got an A- on the final essay. Lots of reading, take notes and read the material.
