Fendrich's class has so much work, you had to come to class prepared with readings and take pop quizzes almost every class. He was nice but very awkward and had poor social skills. At the end of the semester we had a huge report and even though I did well on all my exams the report killed my grade. Do not take him unless you are devoted to psych

We had take home tests that were answering questions in "a page single-spaced" so I would just copy the textbook but in my own words. He gave a HUGE project at the end of the year that was totally ridiculous, we had to carry out our own psychology research experiment and write a huge report on it, NOT appropriate for an intro to psych class

Professor Fendrich really knows what he is talking about. You can tell that he is passionate about psychology and really cares that what he is saying gets through to you. Make sure you come to class because it'll make taking the in-class essays easypop quizzes can boost your grade. Make sure you read!! Interesting class--will open your eyes!

Evolutionary Psy - When I tok it, tests were multiple choice ... since then I've heard he's went back to essay tests. Either way I think it is a student preference - I did not mind the MC. I would highly suggest keeping up with your readings - it is easier to participate and there are things on the test not gone over in class READ!

Dr. Fendrich is cool. His exams are time consuming because they are essay format, but he does give you the exams questions about a week in advance. He is usually a reasonable grader, especially since he can sometimes be a little unclear about what his expectations are for the exams. No HW or comprehensive finals.

Very funny teacher although im not sure he means to be. the class was interesting and not very hard. if you read the book and pay attention you should do fine. there are surprise quizzes but if youve read theyre easy

Fendrich is a wonderful prof if you enjoy essay tests. He's not out to get you, if you tell him what you know you will do fine (as long as you aren't bs-ing him, he will know). He may be a little shy, but he is a great teacher and I would def. recommend him. He truly cares about students.

Easy, easy, EASY class! Some people have problems with his grading because the tests are all essay, but it's not his fault... you either have all of the information or you don't. Funny guy with interesting stuff to teach. Although he gets in little bouts of irritation. Just listen to his directions on the superlabs!
