The best and most inspiring professor Ive ever hadhe believed in me when I didnt believe in myself. He taught me to value my work in a way Ive never been encouraged too. Ive always been a hard worker but I was just under the assumption it was expected. David taught me so much more than my craftwhich he went above and beyond on.

Hes hilarious, engaging, kind, but also incredibly talented at what he does. I performed as an actor for 5 years before taking his class and learned and grew more as an actor in the 3 months I took his class than I did in the 5 years, BY FAR. If youre into acting, he can take you to great heights. If not, just try and youll do well. Recommend!

Great teacher! He knows what he is talking about and will make acting fun. He knows how to teach both advanced and beginning students. His grading is really easy, if he sees that effort is being put in, then he will give you a good grade. He understands that not everyone is going to be a professional. Overall funny guy and dedicated!

David is the best professor I've had at Wheaton so far. Although his Beginning Acting class was not the hardest, he still helped with any confusion I had. He's a great guy, and a great professor. He works hard in the theatre department at Wheaton, both through classes and plays. Such a great guy.

Very much a "character professor." Grading is very arbitrary at the advanced level (he seemed more organized teaching an intro level course), but he is calm and gives plenty of feedback none-the-less. When it comes to shows, give him what he wants and you'll be fine. Overall, very upbeat and non-critical.

Fox is great--he is intelligent, hilarious and really supportive and understanding of his students. Take any class you can with him, and any opportunity to work with him. Thea 101 and his directing classes are especially fun.
