Professor Gibson is a great professor. His lectures are really entertaining, as he is hilarious. I am not the science type at all and I did just fine. He tells you what to expect for each unit. Write it down and use it as a study guide. He is very clear and his labs are a lot of fun. I would totally take another one of his classes again!

Great professor, has an Irish accent, so it can make class interesting! Fairly easy class-although I didn't do well on the tests-just study and you should do well.There are also a couple lab quizzes, as well as a few take home homeworks. He write in cursive so taking notes might be hard if you can't read cursive. Usually ends class 10-15 mins early

He wasn't alwasy the most interesting to listen to and his accent didnt exactly make it easy either. The subject was rough for me, but he tried to give me suggestions and help me out. He had a dry sense of humor which was sometimes off beat/color but you can't hold that against him.

Wow, he's a funny professor. I mean he's hard to understand sometimes, but if you listen and do what he asks of you there is no way that you would be able to fail any of his classes. I cant wait for Petrology in the fall!

Even though I failed one of his tests, and couldnt understand half of the words that he was saying I still got a B in his class, so that says a lot about a great guy. You have to love a guy who always realtes Geology to food right before lunch time.
