Course material can be a bit rough if you don't do the reading. If you don't show up or take notes you're not going to do well. Dave is hilarious and fair grader. The final exam is basically an extra credit opportunity which is great! Would recommend.

Thinks his ideas are the only right ones, mocks others beliefs openly, and did not make me feel welcome in class. Most close minded class I have taken at this institution.

Great professor! He loves his job so much that it radiates to the rest of the class. He's really funny so there is never a boring class. The tests were too hard, but he realized this and helped the students make up the grade for it.

Dr. Goldsmith's evolution class was interesting and he was very passionate about the material. I think he could focus a little more on molecular mechanisms underlying evolution. That's not his world though, so it's understandable that he focuses on paleontology. He can be a bit pompous about his knowledge but otherwise he is great.

He is the best teacher I have had so far! His excellent teaching style incorporates connections to the real world. He really helped me visualize hard concepts with items like silly putty. His tests can be quite challenging, as they require a ton of critical thinking, but the challenge is enjoyable and you will feel prepared. He treats you as an adult
