Definitely one of the most difficult classes I've ever taken in my life. During lab, he would take the time to discuss future prospects for students in the geology field and helps build relationships with faculty and professionals. My recommendation is don't overload your schedule when you're taking a class with David Gonzales.

I had heard horror stories going into 207 about how hard it was, but from what I experienced, David doesn't give you any work that you can't find the answer to. I had a messed up sleep schedule, and missed a major test and a lab, but David was very considerate and let me make them up. I owe the fact that I'm still a Geology major, solely to him.

Had him for several classes as well as being my adviser for my senior geology project. He is in no way easy and will make you work for any grade at all, but when all is said and done you will learn more than you ever think you could. By all means one of the best geology teachers ever.

One of the best professors at FLC. He is willing to put as much effort as required to help his students. He is hard but you will learn alot from him. If you want a blow off class dont take his classes but if you want to learn alot take his classes
