Dr. Kim is one of the best teachers I have ever had. Maybe it's just because I find the subject of IE 355 so interesting, but I found his lectures very engaging. He was accessible outside of class, and really cares about students' success. The majority(65%) of the grade was compromised of two open-book tests, which were challenging but fair.

I took IE 355 last Fall. Dr. Kim is a very smart professor and his exams are tough! Attendance is mandatory to get credit and learn. It seems that the TAs play a huge role in making us understand the material. Zahra and Faisal have always helped me during labs and office hours. Overall good class, great professor and great TAs.

Dr. Kim is a great professor. My favorite professor in the IE department so far. He is willing to help if you don't understand something and his workload is very reasonable. His tests can be tricky and long but for the most part fair.

Dr.Kim is a very strict professor, he tends to make his class the most important class in the term. He is willing to put effort to let his students learn. However, his exams are very hard! be careful guys.

Explains things very clearly, exams are ok as long as you keep up with the materials. Definetly no sense of humor, writes too fast, and you can just see that he's dying to leave class.
