Dr. Kutzko is the best teacher I've had a Western! He loves the material that he teaches, and he teaches it very thoroughly. He's tough on making sure you do your homework, but that's essential for learning a language anyways. He will go out of his way to meet with you if you have questions or a little extra help as well. I highly recommend him!

A great professor. I've always struggled with languages in the past and his class was the first time a language class ever really "clicked" with me. He's a fun teacher and I always look forward to his classes. He's also very helpful during office hours and always available to help if you shoot him an email. Don't slack off on homework though.

Prof. Kutzko is amazing! He really puts the material into perspective and gets you thinking. You can tell he loves this stuff and he wants to help you love it too. Be aware, you absolutely have to do the reading and show up to every class. He's test/quiz heavy with a lot of short essay questions. The class wasn't easy, but it was totally worth it!

Out of all of the classes I had while I was at WMU, Prof. Kutzko's class stands out for me as one of the most interesting. Prof. K is always helpful, open to different interpretations, and leads meaningful discussions. Take anything from him if you have a chance.

Dr Kutzko is smart, funny, handsome, and dedicated. My favorite thing about him would be his accessiblity. He is there when and if you need him. I would recommend all Latin students to try to take your courses with him if you want a caring and present instructor who ensures that you are not only learning, but understanding the material.

GREAT professor. I thought this class would be hard and boring, but it was one of my favorite classes I've had at Western. His lectures are really interesting, and as long as you go to them and listen, the tests and quizzes are really easy. I would definitely recommend taking any class with him, he's really friendly and an amazing professor.
