Amazing instructor! gets back to you really fast. Works with you and is very fair! tests are straight from the book so you really need to read and study good. Weekly assignments, 3 tests and 1 paper.

Stay far away from this guy. This is by far the worst online class i have ever taken. The midterm and final consists of 75 questions, and your only allowed 60 minutes for it. Multiple students complained that they needed more time and he still wouldn't extent the time limit. The assignments are tough and i felt sometimes hard to understand.

Prof Lewis is tough and he makes you show up every class and listen to boring lectures and slides that are available on blackboard. His lectures have nothing to do with the tests and the tests are HARD! Your grade is based off four tests and good luck - if you do poorly - like most of the class you will fail or end up with d

terrible teacher. Does not care for student success. Only reads thru slides - and the slides have nothing to do with the tests. You have to show up and watch his slides or he dings you - but when you ask mathematical questions that actually have to do with the material he offers you to come on extra time. Class and teacher is a joke and waste.

In 4 years at UML I only received less than an A twice, both classes were taught by Prof. Lewis. He doesn't explain the material very well, leaving the students to teach themselves and decipher confusing HW assignments. The multiple choice portion of the exams were extremely hard. I don't know how I could have studied any differently. Bad Prof.

My 2nd class with him, unavoidable unfortunately. Nice guy, upbeat, but doesn't explain things well. Students routinely give up trying to get things explained to them after he fails to explain it multiple times. Multiple Choice portion of exam is very hard. Most students aced the word problems but failed the multiple choice portion, including me.

Lectures from slides for the first half the class then does examples on the board for the second half. Grades 4 out of 10 HW assignments, has you do 1 group simulation. Exams are difficult especially the multiple choice section. He's not very articulate. I don't think he explained the material very well so I taught myself from the slides instead.

I'm very disappointed in this professor. I took his MIS course online and he assigned a ton of work, but gave us virtually no feedback whatsoever. I spent weeks researching and writing the Term Paper and I had to ASK HIM to send me my grade. Even so, he just sent the letter grade. He gave no constructive feedback at all. How lazy is that!??

Took this class online. This professor gives a ton of work to do for the week. Some of the homework due is on material not covered in class, such as MS Access and MS Publisher. If you don't READ and MEMORIZE the entire book, you'll be lucky to get a B. He selects random sentences for test questions. Overall, tough, outdated, and merciless.

Took the 8 week online summer course. It is a lot of work-2chaps, 2cases, 2assignments, 2quizzes, & discussion ques. posted by students each week. Also a Term paper. That being said a level 300 course shouldn't be easy... If you do the reading & the work, you'll do just fine & probably learn something in the process. Scaled the midterm and final.

Took Comparative Management with him. He kept class very interesting by making us do fun group exercises and class discussions. There will be assignments and group cases. A 10 page research paper. Two multiple choice exams. Study by reading text or going over slides online. Overall fun class and great professor. Would definitely recommend!!

He is cut and dry with the work. Old and old fashioned. Either you submit it by 11pm or not. No scaling on tests. No mercy for absences.. Hardly interesting to sit thru the class tho. I would stay away but if you take him don't get caught texting or sleeping, he will def call you out. No extra credit. But the term project was easy.

Professor Lewis is a tough, but caring teacher. He gets picky if you come to class late. Don't text during class. I didn't think I'd like the class, but learned a lot. Funny teaching style. He tries to catch felt tip pens behind his back. Recommended.

He is a very nice guy but a tough grader. teaches material well but the multiple choice questions on the tests were hard. He is always looking to help students and is one of the funniest guys i have ever had. It is a required class so i would definitely recommend taking it with him. he lets u out 15-20 minutes early every day
