Comment:

He went off of spark notes and the readings were normally 15 to 25 pages of notes that you need to know for the test. It wouldn't have been too bad but the test went over 5-7 chapters for the test. And the test were 10 very vague essay questions. When I asked what to study he said to just go over the readings. He is hard to get a hold of.

I adore Dr. Loving. He does lecture a lot, with occasional writing on the board, but if you take good notes you'll be fine. Don't forget the weekly quizzes and show up to class. He's actually pretty funny and knows his stuff. It's only hard if you aren't willing to work.

I dropped this class. It was insanely hard and it's just straight lecturing the entire time. Aside from weekly quizzes there is no homework so when the test comes around you are very unprepared.

He was one of the best teachers I've ever had. I had to drop because I forgot that there were a series of WEEKLY quizzes online that you had to take & could not make up after their weekly due dates. If you do not do the readings and quizzes online YOU WILL FAIL. Basically an online course. But he makes history fun and it's like a story each class.

Very hard class, covers a LOT of material in a short amount of time. You will learn a lot but you must be in class every day to not be completely lost. Very hard tests, but the teacher knows his stuff. Only take if you're going to take the class seriously. Online and in class quizzes weekly.

Had Loving my first semester at NEO. He was a great teacher and very smart. Really keeps you interested and lectures are good. Actaully makes you learn the stuff you need to know. Highly recommend to anyone.

One of my favorite teachers at NEO, he's a bit goofy but his lectures keep you interested! He also doesn't make you memorize dates..he's more interested in you understand the general concept. I would reccomend him to anyone!
