I signed up for this class to fulfill an upper level history requirement. I knew nothing about Italian art/architecture going into this class, so the lectures were hard to follow. His syllabus is clear and the mid-term is open notebook and online. He doesn't update Blackboard so beware.

Professor Lux is a caring man, but the class is not an easy A. Each week there are weekly online quizzes on the readings which tend to be very challenging. The midterm and final are both online as well. The questions for the midterm and final come from the weekly quizzes.

Dlux is a very interesting and helpful guy. He is truly concerned with students' first year adaptation and will go out of his way to help them. I have continued meeting with him after the end of the course and he continues to give good and reliable advice.

He was amazing. Our entire FFL class was us complaining to him about the bad stuff going on in our lives, and since he is one of the Deans he would basically fix all of our problems. Our only hw was making journals, which is just talking about what is going on in your life. it's like therapy. TAKE HIS CLASS.

If you plan on taking an FFL HN course take his! We "had" to read two books and go 2 extra curriculars (but we only went outta respect for the guy). E-journals are totally easy. He understands what the class is suppose to be about. He helped me out w/ stuff I was doing outside of his class. I know I will keep in touch with him throughout the years

prof lux is a very personable man, extremely willing to listen, and gives excellent input. we often discussed dorm/college problems, as well as the technology aspect of the course

Great class! Learning is fun and exciting. Gives a great final web site project. Tests are challenging, but very fair. Prof. Lux is very dedicated to his students and will help you for as long as it takes if you ask him. Lux is one of the best professors
