Prof. Miller is a wonderful person & professor. He is such an inspirational lecturer who taught me more than ANY other professor I know. His life lessons are priceless. He is compassionate and always reminded us that we as individuals are valuable, regardless of what others say. I looked forward to his lectures every single day.

Comment:

Going to class often felt a little bit pointless, as he would go off with stories from his life from time to time. They were almost always applicable to the curriculum though, and were mostly amusing. Definitely go to class though, because he adds small assignments to the syllabus every once in a while that will be due next class or something.

I absolutely loved professor Miller's class, his teaching method, his humor and all of the real life stories he shared. He is a brilliant person. He is straight-to-the-point and tells it like it is! So funny! Thank you professor Miller. I got an A in the class-not hard if you read the book, attend class & study. Final essay REQUIRES APA format.

Comment:

Took 3 classes with him and got A's in all of them so I'm quite familiar (though many find him hard and some have to repeat). He can be abrasive, blunt, presumptuous, rude, and might make jokes about you when you're absent. With that said, apparenly he's fair. I opposed him often in class and it didn't seem to affect my subjective grades.

Very knowledgeable in his field. He was sick alot missed many classes. Tests online are easy he gives study guides that are helpful. The final essay he wants strict exact APA format and will give u a 0% if not perfect without even reading them. I have an A+ before the essay and ended up with a C because I forgot 1 word on the paper.

. I have always enjoyed Miller and his classes. That being said, this was not one of his better moments. Told us over and over again that this class would be difficult and not to miss any classes.. We missed 3 because he was absent. 2 finals in here. The written one is ridiculously hard....had a 97% going into it...hope I get out with a C

one of the most down to earth, knowledgeable teachers. has the best personal experience stories! gives study guides you can fill out as he lectures (some answers in textbook though). every question is on tests. only one final paper which was cool. just dont come to class high and ask make sure to participate and you will enjoy his class/pass!

I just have to give a Giant Shout-out to Professor Miller. He is absolutely a refreshing and skilled teacher. I learned from his class, and he is an amazing listener. His teaching style is one of that he wants us to learn the material, so we can be the best we can be. He definitely is "THE BEST OF THE BEST". Thank you, Prof. Miller!

Good teacher. Very funny. FUN class! The people who fail this class (see other ratings below) are simply not equipped to learn this level of knowledge which is incredibly interesting. Some of the students are ill equipped to qualify as drug counselors. Dr. Miller simply wants the best out there. He has years of experience in the field.

It appears that Miller knows his stuff. Unfortunately I had trouble understanding the information. Studied and received D's & F's. Additionally there were several students in my class that had failed it in previous semesters and had to take it again.

Comment:

I will always remember what it felt like to have a popsicle stick on my finger. He wanted us to place ourselves in the seat of the slightly handicap. It was a eye opening experience. I also had Professor Miller for pharmacology and what a teacher, he is awesome. I learned so much from these classes with Pro. Miller and Pro. Senna. amazing people!
