a brilliant professor. anyone who doesn't enjoy him is simply not one willing to grapple with complex thought... he teaches philosophy, what did you expect? i would recommend taking an honors class with him, that way you'll be able to interact more and probably enjoy the material more as well. his mind is unreal, and he's a genuinely nice man.

the stuff taught is eay. he goes over everything there only thing graded is the tests. and if your a bad test taker you will fail the course because there will be nothing else to help you out. everything has to be EXACT or else you will get points off. write down what he does verbatum and you'll pass. hes a nice guy. lectures are boring though.

Material a little boring, but he will go over it until all of your questions are answered. Held reviews before every exam. Lax homework policy but if you don't do it you will have a hard time on the exams.

Class discussions made class fun but lecture was boring. Pay attention to what he says because he wants that EXACT thing repeated on his exams. Pay attention to HIS opinion. Once you do that and don't skip a lot of classes it's an easy A. He's very nice outside of class though.

I took honors ethics with him. Boy, was this a mistake! This was the hardest class of my life and I studied for HOURS for midterm and final (the only real grades in the class). He was also very boring. He knows a lot, but he gave me an awful grade and I showed up to and participated in every class and did every assignment! Ethics SUCKS

Seemed like a nice guy. I didn't talk to hime much because it's a pretty easy class, an easy A for anyone who's not a lazy ass. Material was a little boring but, what are you gonna do? Anyway, he did a good job and I worked hard and earned an A, so it seems he is fair.

He explains things very well, and will go over anything you want him to. He is nice and willing. The class is difficult, and he doesn't strike me as an easy grader. But overall, he is a good professor to have if you are interested in Philosophy.

A very challenging class that pushes the bounds after Ancient Philosophy. He can be monotone at times, but usually keeps it interesting. ALl tests are right from notes. A mind expander to say the least.

Great class. I only wish that I had time to take another one of his. Sometimes it is hard to stay awake, because he can be monotone, but that makes it all the better when he cracks one of his rare jokes.

Very easy class- IF you go. His tests are right from the notes, and he explains everything. Only downfall is his monotone voice. But in exchange for his voice, theres an easy A (you just have to try and stay awake!)
