Probably one of the worst teachers i've had at Lehigh. Class is pretty useless and doesn't prepare you for test and homework. Is funny, but rambles about unimportant nonsense and spends way to much time correcting people speech. All of that would be ok if he actually taught the material. He's easily the worst i've had and ill do anything to avoid.

Myers has a lot of global experience which he brings to teaching. If you did well in FIN 323 and 328, you will do well in this class. His midterm and final are not hard, and nearly identical. Homework assignments are pretty straight forward; just make sure you are clear, concise, consistent and convincing. He prepares you to act professionally.

Had myers for fin 323. Difference in difficulty was dramatic. Investments was very hard but this was a cake walk. Tests really have nothing to do with what you learn in class. Theory based, get to weight your grade however you want btw hw, exams, CP and attendance and then reweight it again halfway through. nail that weight and you should be good.

Great guy but not so great professor. He spends classes telling jokes and correcting your speaking, but doesn't get to material. He left us very unprepared to complete the 2 big homework assignments and to do well on tests.

I loved Professor Myers as a person, but not so much in terms of teaching the class material. The course was split into two halfs with a new professor teaching the second half and I learned way more in the second half. Myers likes to talk alot and tell jokes, but doesn't help much with learning about Investments.

Raising your hand doesnt work bc he calls on people randomly to answer questions (some are simple & some really make u think) so you need to go to class or else he'll know youre not there. Hes a really nice guy with a great sense of humor and knows the subject very well. Exams r tough but he lets you decide the % weights for hw,exams,&participation

Has four things he grades on: clear, concise, convincing, and consistent. If you follow these four tenets and back up your answers with good rationale, you should be okay. Really great guy, really great sense of humor but...MY GOD THE COURSE IS BORING. It's just too easy :(. Why can't he teach something that's worth his time and his 15 years of real world experience, rather than BS models for dumb@ss business majors?

I absolutely agree that 'Interesting course...Professor Myers presents the material well and has a great sense of humor.' But you really need put a lot of time into this course if you don't have much background in this field. Final exam may be tricky.

Great teacher, good sense of humor, fun class. Its a tough class but he presents it very well . People who complained about Myers are lucky they didn't have Kish, he would have made them cry.
