He expects that you have read and understand the lab handout before class and will interrogate you on it before letting you start the lab, however it seems to be more out of really wanting you to know your stuff. DO NOT give him a reason not to like you, you will regret it and so will your lab partner. Also, expect to pull a lot of all nighters.

Most non-physics majors hate him (see previous ratings). He may be one of the most demanding professors in the entire university, but he definitely cares about giving the students a solid experimental physics background. He's a great guy but takes a lot of getting used to (and tons of work).
