His fys was my favorite college class. Took 3 of his classes, always challenging but worth it. Having him made me decide to be an English major. He is spacey and pompous, but is sincere, brilliant, passionate, and is sensitive to the fact that his students are human beings. Understands there are other things in life besides his classes.

One of the most sincere and passionate professors I have ever had. His enthusiasm, command of the material, and advice have aided me in the decision to pursue graduate studies in literature. If you want a literature class that will challenge you, make you laugh, and leave you floored after every session, his classes are what you want.

Best teacher I ever had. Changed my life. He's passionate, brilliant, thoughful, and interesting. He helped me to become more confident and skilled. He wants his students to feel smart and think smart. He doesn't believe he owns all the good ideas, and genuinely wants to learn from his students. You get out of his class as much as you put in. If you show up late with out having read, he'll let you know it's unacceptable. If you're serious about English (especially Ireland), he's the professor to go to. A conversation with Dr. Rosenwasser changed my approach to school and learning as a whole. Highly recommended

Best teacher I ever had. He opened my mind, changed the way I read, how I think, how I look at the world. Never wanted to skip his class. He views his students as intellectual equals--he genuinely wants to learn from them, not just teach them. You get what you give in his classes--and there's a lot to be gained.
