This class was a very interesting one, but it was a pretty tough class. Dr. Schmitt is an endless abyss of information, the man is a genius, which is kind of intimidating. You have to write a reaction essay to a research article every week along with a term paperpresentation at the end of the semester. Interesting subjectdifficult A.

Dr. Schmitt is an awesome guy and a really good, smart teacher. This class was super interesting, but the lectures were so long it was hard to stay focused. Don't bothering spending $$ on the textbook because you won't touch it at all. Its a great class but be prepared for stress.

This class is very obviously his life. He's so energetic and excited about every single topic. He tells funny stories. He answers questions. He's among the most helpful teachers at BU. He's lenient when reasonable. He tries to help you as much as possible. Attend class; he gives outlines of his lectures.

He was great lecturer. Gives u the powerpoint ahead it helps to go over them ahead of time. The powerpoint is extremely helpful and covers everything he sets it up perfectly. Just go over it like 3 times and you will be set. If u have him as a section leader he goes over info that other leaders didnt cover that he knows is on the quizzes

Very enthusiastic and intelligent. I'm sad that I didn't get to know him better over the semester. Good lecturer, especially compared to the other teachers in the class. Don't expect him to go over the lecture before quizzes though--he just adds to the information.

One of the best lecturers I have ever heard. He always gave the slideshows of the lecture before class, but there were SO many slides...I never printed them out. Just pay attention in class...he's so energetic that you won't fall asleep AND he tells you what slides are on the test.
