Comment:

Intimidating subject, Sessions is good though. He will always go over the material again if you ask, overall he was god. Bring another copy of the HW to class and fill them out with the correct answers and they will be your best study guide. Attendance is not mandatory but if you don't go you will get lost.

He doesn't make much sense when he teaches and isn't very helpful when you ask him to clarify what he's teaching. No help or hints on he exam, but will tell you what topics will be on it. Very scattered way of teaching. Extra help in his office barely helped me understand. Needed a tutor all semester and got a B-. Hw's are tough. Take someone else.

Very Intelligent guy, however, not the best teacher for the material. This class is tough to begin with and he doesn't teach the class clear enough. Maybe it's his accent, maybe it's the dryness of the material, I don't know. Midterm 40%, Final is 50% and HW 10%. I would advise you to take another professor if it's available.

This guy does not know how to teach the material. He may know the subject matter however his teaching of it is horrible. Also no help come time for test. No review class, or review problems. Just a formal sheet. Homework is difficult and not accepted late. Overall Stay away from this Professor.

This is a extremely difficult class. I don't even know how i passed the course. He curved majorly if most students didn't do well. It always happens. if he didn't curve, most students would fail. if it's a mandatory class for you, then good luck and work you ass off! By the way, He is English, he prefer his English/UK way to teach.

This course is extremely difficult!! Sometimes Sessions appears to not really care if you are failing. If you do the hw's and actually can comprehend them then you will do OKAY, but not good. If you try to talk to him about grades he does listen and goes a long way. Curves majorly at the end of semester!!

Terrible. you will be stressed out all semester long. he is all over the place and extremely lazy. His homeworks takes 5-7 hours each week and then he wont even go over it if he forgets his answer sheet! All of the homeworks are on minitab (and the project) but the exams are not. It is true that attendance isn't mandatory & you only need to be there when he goes over homework because they are exactly what the problems on the midterm & final are. But IT'S NOT WORTH IT TO TAKE HIM! He is arrogant and completely inflexible. Extremely unhelpful and frustrating. NOT WORTH THE STRESS!! stay away!!

This class is horrible, but I still recommend this professor. The midterm and final are exact copies of the homeworks with different numbers. You only have to go to class when he goes over the HW, and then study them for the two exams. He is incredibly boring but you will get a good grade if you do the homework.

Do not take this professor, he does not care about his students. took him last semester having read the reviews saying he was not bad...total mistake. He does not care about his students and scribbles random stuff on the board which half of it is not even on the test. Take my advice, DO NOT TAKE HIM!

QM122 is terribly hard. BUT... Sessions speaks English, which makes it 10 times easier. You must do all the homework assignments and submit them online. That makes the course manageable b/c it forces you to review the material. Do your homework and study hard and you'll do fine. Ask him tons of questions in class, b/c you know everyone else is lost

QM can be an intimidating course but I recommend Sessions. Sessions is a great professor. He assigns alot of HW but it really helps. Homework is mandatory, and it is in your best interest to do the HWs. Sessions directly relates the HWs to the 2 exams(midterm & final). Sounds cheesy but 'Do your homework, and you'll get an A'

QM is hard, so he is probably the best one out there. The tests are the HQ but that does not mean they are simple. Midterm was easier then the final. Hard to pay attention in class but it is not that bad. No attendance but you have to submit HW online, overall this was an allright class.

He's not hard to undestand but he does trail off sometimes. And sometimes he just keeps on talking and talking and talking. He'll mumble some joke and laughs while the rest of the class is HUH? But if you need help on a one on one basis, he's cool.

I did not understand what this guy was talking about most of the time. But if you master the 7 homeworks that he gives throughout the semester you will be able to teach yourself fairly easily and do fine. I suck at math and just cramed the night before for the midterm and final and pulled an A-. Definelty recommend!
