Comment:

Snyder seems stubborn, boring, and generally uninterested at first but after a few interactions with him, he's really a great guy that can offer some really helpful intuition. I highly recommend any of his fine art classes, unfortunately, I know that he's not the BEST with his freshmen classes, but with the freshmen dropout rate, I don't blame him.

Horrible teacher. Spent way more time bragging about past students and criticizing our work ethics (unfairly) than actually teaching anything. Terrible explanations of the projects; one project, he just gave it to us and didn't explain it well at all. Called us the "guinea pig class". Great guy, awful teacher..

Dave is a great teacher that genuinely cares about what you're doing and whether or not you have the ability to succeed. If he seems like he's not interested in helping you, chances are that he just knows that you're doing the right thing and doesn't want to interfere. He's the kind of prof that won't interrupt you unless he absolutely has to.
