Comment:

The class was interesting but the tests were really difficult . We had a lot of outside homework to do as well, and some of it seemed a bit tedious. I liked the class but it isn't easy to do very well in.

I had him for social psychology his lectures were fun and def never boring. His tests, however are tough but he gives outlines on what you need to study and if you study you'll do just fine. He also gives extra credit assignments to make up lost points. Would absolutely take him again!

He's a nice guy and means well I'm sure, but his tests are basically impossible to get a decent grade on and the book should not be a novel that requires to be read end to end to get an A in the class. Especially since he lectures on other material at the same time. Too much information to be remembered

Great guy overall, just tough when grading. Make sure you don't skip class, you will miss a lot of material. Although he is a great teacher, I never knew what to expect for his grading. Although he would give a rubric for grading, he would always take off too many points for little things. His harsh grading can bring your grade down, so be prepared

He is the best professor ever. He truely is. He makes learning so much fun and his lectures are always funny. He really goes to great lengths to help people learn the concepts. His tests are tough if you don't read the book or can't apply the concepts. He does go over tests and likes input from class.

TAKE HIM FOR EXPERIMENTAL. He's an awesome professor and so so helpful. The class is challenging but he finds ways to keep you interested. Before this class I had no interest in research but his passion for it rubbed off on me. Dr. Strohmetz is a great professor. His exams are difficult but he structures the class so one bad grade won't kill you.

Dr. Strohmetz is a great guy. His classes are interesting however, if it is a three hour it does go until the very last minute. The tests are extremely hard and are not just about knowing the information, but being able to apply it. You will definitely learn a lot by taking Strohmetz, but if all you want is a good grade, look elsewhere

He is a very funny and likeable guy. I loved his class the most so far at Monmouth. That being said, his tests are very difficult and he does a strange conversion system so that they only possible grade you can get on a test is a 65, 75, 85, or 95 and thats it. He is very particular about what he wants and makes it ridiculously hard to get an A.

This is probably one of the most interesting courses I had ever taken at Monmouth. He makes the class so interesting, you don't want to miss it. His test are hard, so study alot. He's very helpful and answers e-mails right away. I deff suggest taking Dr.S, even though it might be one of the harder classes, it deff will be the most interesting ones

Dr Strohmetz is the best teacher I have ever had. He made social psychology fun and interesting. I spent most of the lectures laughing because he is so funny. His tests are amazingly difficult...I recommend using all of the study guides on ecampus. Do the practice tests until you have them memorized. I highly recommend Dr Strohmetz for Social Psych

Lectures are engaging, fun, and interesting. This is one class you will look forward to attending! Tests are difficult, but if you put the time in to studying the material on e-campus he provides, you will do well. Take copius notes. Strohmetz was hilarious for Social Psych, his tests were dumb hard, but you still learned...years later the things he lectured about are still there...he should teach more classes!!!! Def. take strohmetz for social psych, top class professor!!!!!
