Must show up to class or office hours for the notes. Textbook is not necessary at all. Everything tested or quizzed over comes from class notes. Most graded activities are completed using personal notes, so an A is absolutely obtainable. He is obviously passionate but lectures can drag sometimes. Random group assignments/quizzes in class.

He added tests this semester, so quizzes (which I thought were harder) weigh less. Once you get used to the structure of questions on quizzes, the tests aren't too bad. Practice exams are life savers for the tests. His explanations are easy to follow but it's pretty easy to zone out. Find smart people to work group assignments with.

This class was much easier than I expected it to be, if you know how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide then you already have 50% of the class covered and learned. The hard part is mostly the conceptual stuff which can be confusing since its not that interesting. Group projects are mandatory so find a squad before its too late!

Funny guy, he recently added exams to the class but it was probably for the better since the quizzes felt way harder and it used to be your only grades. Daily participation exercises, easy & drops 3. Dropped 2 quizzes. If you truly pay attention in class, you will be just fine. He does a lot of examples that relate to the ones on exams.

The exercises in this class are pretty easy, but the exams are SO much harder than what you've been doing. Practice exam is also easier than the real test. There are 2 midterms and a final. The midterms are 30 questions and you only have 1 hour to do them, which is not enough time. Take this class only if you have the time to dedicate to it!!!

I took the Foundations of Accounting Summer Online class, which was one of the easiest classes I have ever taken. Since it is largely self-paced, if you stay on top of the deadlines every week, then you will do well. The problems come when waiting until the last day to get through all the materials. This class was taught by a team of instructors.

His class is huge and I have never made eye contact with him. His lectures seem dull but you learn well enough if you pay attention. You should get a decent grade if you're careful enough but overall not the most interesting class I've taken.

He's a pretty good lecturer, definitely find a smart group early to work on group assignments with. Quizzes are tricky at first but you learn what to expect. It's really not a hard class if you just go to class and for God's sake work through the questions in class so you have notes to reference.

I believe this professor has one of the easiest classes for the business minor. He was a pretty decent professor and was always able to give me the lecture notes when I missed class (8 times). Just now the concepts in the beginning and you'll be fine. Making some friends in class will also help a lot

Do not take this professor. He makes a lot of careless mistakes but refuses to admit that he made them. He is rude when you ask questions and is not helpful. I spent hundreds of dollars on a tutor for this class and will still not be making an A. I am typically an A student.

If you wanna make it out with a decent grade, you HAVE to find smart friends. Timed quizzes are tricky and generally hard, and in class assignments are fairly long. Your only easy A's are the CNOW assignments. Verduzco himself is an alright teacher, I could understand the concepts. Playing lemonade tycoon is also pretty fun.

Tough class, you definitely need to make friends in this to pass. Very vague and boring during lectures. One of the toughest classes I had to take for my minor.

Not an enjoyable class, the timed quizzes at home are very stressful, and it's difficult to know what exactly is going to be on them cause he'll pick stuff from all around the unit. Class wasn't very helpful either.

do NOT recommend taking this professor. tons of 10 question/20 minute online quizzes which are impossible to finish in time. I love math, but this class and teaching format is impossible. Easy C.

It will be an easy A for you if you have a group of people in that class to help you understand what you don't understand. I enjoyed this class, and this is how I made my first few friends at UT despite my sophomore status.

Most of your grade is based off of around 17 quizzes that are timed and pretty stressful (since they require calculations on the spot). It's difficult, but doable to get an A in this class. Must go to class for participation grade.

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. 60% of your grade is based off of 17-20 EXTREMELY DIFFICULT (& nearly impossible) timed quizzes. You get 20 minutes for 10 questions (and half of these questions require extensive thought/math). I have 100s for everything else, yet will get a B b/c of the quizzes.

I took this class expecting it to be a blow-off - it wasn't. There's so many timed quizzes to take and they were incredibly difficult. Study groups will be your savior in this class! Just make sure you do all the assignments (surveys, assignments, quizzes), as he will drop a couple of each. The class isn't difficult, you just need to work for an A

Dr. Verduzco is a wonderful professor for non-accounting majors. I have learned a lot through this course. The class is made up of weekly quizzes and participation surveys, no tests. Defiantly would recommend for anyone needing ACC310F
