Preofessor Walker is probably the best professor I've ever had at UNI. Lectures are always interesting, in fact it's like he's just telling the class a story instead of lecturing. He's very approachable,knowledgeable, and interested in his student's learning.

Walker is an amazing professor! Lectures are always interesting and relate directly to the tests. Tests aren't too bad, you will need to study for them in order to do well. I highly recommend taking Walker!!

Dr. Walker Rocks! I am long out of college and have been teaching high school for 14 years. His class still sticks out as one of the best. I have been exploring the Lewis and Clark trail ever since. Take his classes and you will not be disappointed. He inspires and takes you on a journey through history.

I had professor Walker twice. He is one of the nicest professors I had in my 16 semesters at UNI. He is a little tedious to some, but I really enjoyed History of the West and Native American History.

I graduated from UNI in 1999 and took 4 of Dr. Walker's classes. He was by far the best professor in the college. I now teach and I try to be as good a lecturer as he is. Was always helpful. I tell every student that goes to UNI to try and take one of his classes regardless of their major. Just an outstanding teacher and great person

Really great guy!! His lectures are nice and clear and he really tries to make it interesting and fun. You can choose from two kinds of tests: an essay one and a multiple choice/essay. The tests are not easy. You have to study and read the assigned books. Great class...for sure take him!

GREAT CLASS TO TAKE! All i did was listen to his lectures, which he explains so well and makes them very interesting. I never read the books and still passed the tests, which are multiple choice. Definately take this guy for a class

Walker is a stud. His sex appeal rivals that of James Bond (Sean Connery version), while his intelligence is more superior than Stephen Hawking's. His class is full of interesting info, if you like the west. I've never heard a prof get more excited about the lecture topics. Tests aren't too bad.

I didn't care for history until I took his class a few years ago. His lectures brought the subject to life for me, and now history is one of my hobbies. Good guy - highly recommend.
