This guy was un-real. we spent half the class in silence while he talked about his marital problems. This class did make me enjoy poetry to want to write it more, other than that the class could have been good if he wasnt the prof.

Waste of time as a professor. If you are interested in learning take it form someone else. He had us write two things in an entire semester of creative writing. He just talked about his problems with his wife, didn't help my writing at all.

This stoneaged creature has all the wit and intelligence of an ape. Refuses to use email, doesn't want to be 'bothered' by phone so what other option is there? I guess I could swing by on horseback...altogether incompetent, full of himself and his miniscule abilites...easy course though.

He's a really nice guy, with a firm understanding of his work, (although he doesn't require much work out of you). Its an easy few credits, so if you want to fullfil you core requirement, this isn't a bad choice.

This man needs to retire. He was no help to me whatsoever with my writing skills. He grades according to his moods and how things are going in his life.(which he discusses frequently) He misses a lot of classes, and always goes off topic. He will not return emails and will blame it on his wife!!

An extremely unintersting individual, normally this would have no effect on a class, but all he does is talk about himself! His pathetic problems, his boring childhood. This man considers himself something of an intelectual but is in fact as dumb (if not dumber) than a board! Got an A

Look in the dictionary under "sheltered, incompitant hillbilly" and you should find his name. Lectures were based on nothing in particular, he gets SOOOO sidetracked I often wonder if he is senile. He would devote 2 hour lectures to his next big real estate prospect. Really pal, we don't CARE!

This was a class dedicated to all the wonderfulness of Mr. David Walker...it was comprised partly of his life history, partly on his polical/social outlook...but none of it was acutally devoted to writing. Mr. Walker is scared of the internet...he is a hillbilly stuck in a timewarp and I got an A

I would not take another class with him. He complains, changes his grading scale half way through the semester and is often unprepared. He also missed 2 classes in a summer session with lame excuses. waste of $$.

This man should retire.I was very excited about creative writing but had to listen for 2-1/2 hours about his barn, his wife, his poetry, and how wonderful he is. A colossal waste of money and time, he missed two out of 10 classes!

great class for people trying to get out of public speaking. If you like listening to crazy old people, (which I do) you'll love this teacher. If you don't just skip class it doesn't hurt your grade much. And Hey, My poem about the Norwalk virus got a B.
